Research Profiles

Research Profiles is a permanent database of highly-qualified researchers,
organised by ART-ER in agreement with the Emilia-Romagna Region
and the universities based in the region. It was set up to make the most
of the research expertise available in the area and to strengthen links
with the regional research and innovation system.

What is it for

The aim is to build a dataset of highly educated individuals, providing a structured overview of the skills and expertise available across various scientific and technological scopes. The profiles are collated in a dedicated database which ART-ER also makes available to organisations investing in Research and Development projects.

Who can join

The initiative is open to those who have undertaken (or are currently undertaking) research at universities based in Emilia-Romagna, including: researchers; PhD holders; PhD students nearing the achievement of their degrees; and individuals without a PhD who have previously held research grants or contracts at universities based in the region.

How it works

To join, you must express your interest and complete an online form detailing your skills and areas of research. The data are processed for purposes of supporting innovation and growth initiatives in the region.

What it is not

For clarity, Research Profiles:
is not an employment agency or recruitment service;
•
does not entail any obligation lying with those consulting the database to make contact or to recruit;
•
does not impose any obligation on those who sign up.

Why you should sign up

It is an opportunity for targeted networking that can boost visibility of research expertise and help to strengthen the connection between research, innovation and the regional production system, regardless of individual funding schemes.
